Babies that are 6-12 months old are some of my favorite ages to photograph. This great age range includes little ones that are usually able to sit up and move yet they are moving SLOWLY. One way I help accommodate babies at this age is scheduling sessions based on their schedule, not my own. I allow the flexibility in to make adjustments on our meeting time the day of the session in case nap times or meal times get out of whack. We all know kiddos this age are unpredictable and the best way to get great shots is to have a happy baby! I’m particularly fond of the last shot of Mom and Dad. It’s simple, yet, so often parents forget to celebrate their connection over the years too. What a blessing it is to capture these moments!
