Ruby contacted me to photograph her family while her parents visited from out of the country. She wanted to capture a mix of both posed and documentary images. This would allow her to have traditional portraits along with candid images that captured the connection between family members. We met at the PSU Arboretum in the evening and enjoyed walking around the gardens together. While posed portraits have their purpose, my favorites are those that are much more natural <3
